The teachings and tools offered in our AIM Training Program are simple, strong practices that any young man can use in daily life situations. They are the simple basic life-skills that arise from self-awareness, self-confidence, compassion, and a healthy self-esteem.
Teachings:
- Conflict resolution skills
- Correcting mistakes
- Declaring what I stand for
- Exploring & owning my "shadow" aspects
- Honoring my own & other's gifts and strengths
- Embracing & healing my own weaknesses
- Awareness of and development of facility with Group Dynamics
- Connection to mentors, men who are strong, compassionate, emotionally literate, and available

- The language of emotional literacy
- Body-centered awareness - living in a man's body
- The effects of alcohol and drugs on a man's body
- The paradigm of the "new masculine" - fierce and tender
- Sex and women - honoring the Feminine
- Power and responsibility - integral models for the 21st century
- Competition as a self-challenge
- New models of teamwork - holding each other accountable to a higher standard
- Relating to elders on campus and in the community with respect, dignity and accountability
- Stretches & commitments - keeping the work alive in the "real world" of your daily college experience
